Welcome Home!

You cannot think about 4-H without thinking about the fair! The Missouri State fair is the culmination event for many 4-H projects. You will locate many of the projects in the 4-H Building but will also find them spread throughout the fair in the many livestock barns. The fair is where a 4-Her comes to show the hard work they have put in through the year. To make it to the state fair, a project must be shown at a local county fair and receive a purple ribbon. That purple ribbon means they rank in the best of the best! 4-H does not judge non-animal projects at the state level. They come to the fair simply to show off the hard work of our 4-Hers. However, if a project is, say, a steer, pig, sheep, or rabbit, they will be judged in the appropriate arena.

We welcome you to explore the fairgrounds for the many places you will find 4-H!
